Alex,

I’ve purchased the 8 packs and registered 3 cameras and activate them via CL-Eye Device Activation. I’d say it is quite an impressive activation mechanism.
However, I still have problem… the CLEyeGetCameraCount() is still returning 2 cameras (instead of 3), with the first-attached camera being completely ignored.

FYI, I’ve tried to reinstall the device drivers via clean uninstall and reboot. I’ve also kept the CL-Eye Device Manager window opened at all time.
PC specs: Windows 7, intel i7-920, opencv 1.1pre1

Could you please help?

Thanks,
Minghadi

@Gunning: Could you share your experience a bit? At least letting others know if you’ve got it working without any glitch.

hi james, no we dont give only SDK, it comes as a package of 4 cameras or six cameras. if you are interested i can share videos or you could even purchase a base USB version of the unit it doesnt cost much approximately 1000USD for a four camera system.

Is that a multi-platform system or it only runs on Windows? Could you share some videos?

actually the USB version currently runs only on linux, because while this work was being done your drivers didnt support multi cameras. and also if the system uses more than 4 cameras USB bandwidth becomes a real issue, hence we prefer analog or IP interfaces in that case. you could look at the few videos here -
