We do have plans on doing this however its a couple weeks out… for now you could install on your non development internet enabled pc and copy the driver files that are created on installation, with these you can force driver via the “update drivers” in Windows Device Manager.

Hi all! Is possible to have a downloadable “standalone” copy driver for my home desktop pc (xp32)?I use my webcam only for freetrack. At my home i don’t have online connexion. If is not possible, there is a chance to use the driver downloaded from the internet and do recognize the webcam from my computer?Which is, eventually, the path that I should use? Thanks for your cooperation and good work!

Hallo, no one? I tried to force the installation of drivers, the camera is recognized by the system but not as a webcam, so the image management programs do not work. How do I do recognize the device as a webcam? i have xpsp2, visc++ netframework 3.5sp1.Thanks

Is there an update on this issue?  Is there a standalone installer that does not require internet access?

I tried using the regsvr32 command suggested above, and it reported:
DllRegisterServer in C:\Program Files\Code Laboratories\CL-Eye Driver\PS3EyeAxFilter.ax succeeded.

However, when I plug in my PS Eye camera, it still says USB Camera driver not found.

Thanks for any feedback.

I’m in the same boat exactly.
CL-Eye Test now shows the PS3 Eye Camera menu option but it says now camera found.
I noticed there is still no registry key added to the Wow6432Node section in regedit.
Could this be my problem?
Any other debugging hints? I’m not a Windows driver master, as might be obvious.
Thanks.

I just found a solution:
I had already copied the contents of the Code Laboratories/CL-Eye Driver to my internet-challenged machine.
I also rand the regsvr32.exe command mentioned above.

The missing bit:
I had to go to device manager and find “USB Camera” under “Other Devices”.
Then I right-clicked and chose Update Driver and Browsed for the location.
Just pointed it at that CL-Eye Driver folder and it did its thing.
Now I have the PS3 Eye showing up in CL Eye Test and CL-Eye Device Manager!
Hurray!
