Just found an article about using CL driver for PS3 camera and followed the instructions to download and install the driver. Install complete the cl-eye-test didnt find a camera to use. I noticed a cl- eye device manager so tried that and assumed I had to activate something. Couldn’t do this without an account so I created one and tried again.

No luck, only messages about not having enough credits to activate the camera.

What does it all mean?

Must say that maccam on the apple worked first time, no problems, completely free! Why do people continue to use wondoze?

Lyonacre… If you could please try and to re-install the camera making sure you follow the on-screen instructions of un-plugging if needed. You only have to activate cameras if you wish to use more than 2 or if you are using for commercial purposes.

As for the OS question its a preference of taste… I can honestly say Windows 7 is an amazing OS… and also we are able to get much better performance on windows platforms than OSX.
