I am having a bit of a strange problem with messenger. Sometimes if I run Firefox at the same time the video from both mine and whoever I am talking to turns into a solid green box and machine slows to a crawl. The audio still works, and I can get the video back by simply closing Firefox restarting the video call, and then my computer runs at its normal speed.

The camera test software works without a hitch, and I can talk for hours on messenger without any problems. I only seem to have a problem when I run Firefox, but even then it doesn’t always happen. I do have the Flashkiller plugin in Firefox. Could that be causing the problem?

I am running Windows XP SP3 on an AMD Semprom 3000 (2ghz) with 1GB of RAM. I also run with a limited account, although I can use the administrator account.
