When ever I use the microphone on my ps eye camera, the volume is ridiculously loud and I can hear my cpu fan a lot louder than it actually is. Is there some sort of way I could lower of volume of it so I can talk to people over skype without hearing them complain about how my mic has too much background noise.
The microphone driver is a standard Windows driver. CL Eye driver is camera only driver.
Your problem is something you should be able to resolve via Windows sound control panel settings.
