I’ve downloaded the CL-Eye install at least 15 times already, and every time I try to install I get the same error message a quarter of the way through: “connecting to host”, then the install fails. Can anyone help me with this?

The installer requires access to the internet. Make sure there’s no firewall blocking. Also several people hat trouble when they were behind a proxy. Best I could do is install the software on a laptop in a place with a direct connection to the internet. I copied the Code Laboratories folder with a USB stick to other computers, worked too.

I don’t know why CL chose to use a web-based installer.

[EDIT] I disabled my firewall, and still nothing. Any other ideas?

Please make sure in your Internet Explorer to enable ‘Automatically detect settings’ in the ‘LAN settings’ dialog box as shown below:

[EDIT]Well I have the driver/test/etc. installed, but Skype and Splitcam still refuse to recognize the camera. I’ve installed the camera several times, and still nothing.

We want to use the PS3 Eye in our lab which has no internet access, is there any way to install the driver without requiring the internet?
