Under Forums/Support there is this topic “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)” and sub titled “General questions asked and answered by the community.”
However, if you read the posts in this FAQ you’ll find that many of the questions have “NOT” been answered. Then how come they ended up in “General questions asked and answered by the community.”?
I am getting real frustrated with trying to get my PS3Eye to work!
I installed the driver, and the only thing that works is the “CL-Eye TEST” and in chat. I want to make the cam work for other purposes too, like for a software “baby monitor” which needs to use a web cam. But even though in the program the cam appears as a valid device, there is no video.
I tried to activate the driver in CL-Eye device manager, and although the software is stated to be free for non-commercial use, the device manager keeps asking me to buy credits, so that means “NOT FREE”.
If it costs money to use this software, please state clearly, upfront that this is so, and not state that it is free for non-commercial use, which is what I want to use it for.
