Is there any chance to see some function that enables JPEG compression of frames on camera instead of raw data on next SDK release? Or maybe camera doesn’t support on-chip JPEG compression and has only ability to send raw frames?

The camera sends data in a raw format. One way to accomplish this is to compress the raw frames using JPEG after they are transmitted to the PC.
