Alex, new SDK works solid rock stable!

Two cameras, VGA@60fps each , mono mode, worked over 10 hours without problems on old P4 hardware.
I was not sure it was even possible considering USB speed limitation.

I might have some another minor questions later, but the stability issue seems to be resolved!

aaichert, two cameras 640x480@60 fps also work for you?

I’m just curious, because USB 2.0 bandwidth might be some barrier
in multicam setting.

Alex calculation: “Required Bandwidth = 640*480*60*3 = 55296000 bytes/s = 52.73 MB/s - Which exceeds the total usable USB 2.0 bandwidth!!! “

However, when using USB monitoring software tool, 3 times lower numbers are displayed, which is strange.

toucheur, let me clarify. With stable I simply meant to say it is not freezing. The 60fps referred to frameRate parameter on creation with CLEyeCreateCamera(...).
However, I have the cameras attached to the same hub and in gray format I really get 60frames out of both cameras and only once in a while (every few seconds) a single frame is dropped. When I run the same setup in color mode, one camera grabs at about 56 fps, the other at about 45 fps, and these numbers are also surprisingly stable after about a minute.

Thanks again to Alex for the freezing-fix!!!

Edit just said that both 60fps and 75 fps with one camera run just fine.
