OK what can I use to just take a quick pic? Anyone have any idea? The video works great but there is no picture taker as part of the Test.

PS great job ...keep up the good work.

If you want something really simple just for a quick picture have a look maybe at Picanom PhotoBooth It Works good.

Hmm for whatever reason it doesn’t seem to want to work. It’s just a blank screen. Thanks for the info though. And just to make sure I opened the CL Test again and it’s still working good so not sure what it could be. It could be possible that it isn’t compatible with Firefox 3.6….

just checked it for you, it works fine for me in IE8, Firefox 3.5.7 and Firefox 3.6

However at first in chrome 4.0.249 the screen appeared black for me, (just like it did for you) but it worked fine once I chose to use the ffdshow codec instead of the systems default video codec. Note that I have extra video codecs installed so it might be why its working fine for me and not for you in firefox.

However this is not a problem with the PS3 Eye Driver.

Im sure there are lots more site available like this if you just need a quick way of taking pitcures with your camera.

Alan

Thank you for the info though. I might check into that later on but I found a free program that I added to one of the the “this works” posts…. it’s called Yawcam. works good and does everything I want and a little more.
