Driver installation keeps cancelling.

I’m following the video instructions and I realized that instead of telling me to have the camera unplugged, the installation wants it plugged in. As I continue, a pop up comes out just saying “connecting to host” and just an OK button; when I press it the rest just says “Installation Aborted” and “Setup was not completed successfully”. Anyone else had the same problem and knows how to fix it? I’m trying to make it work on Windows XP. Thank you smile

You need to be connected to the web during the installation since the driver files are downloaded at that time.

I’m getting the same problem. I’m running on windows 7 though, not XP. It keeps saying installation aborted and setup not completed successfully after it says connecting to host. I’m connected, I haven’t closed the page since the download started. Any other things that could cause this?

Please try installing the latest driver (Version: 4.0.2.1017). In the latest installer we have increased the timeout period for the file download. This should fix your problem. Please let us know if this fixed the issue you are experiencing.

For me, it keeps on “Downloading Timed Out” when it’s downloading WdfCoInstaller01009.dll -_- I just restarted my computer and my old PS3Eye installations doesn’t even work anymore, when it did work before I restarted my computer. Now I’m running into this Timed out which is happening still. Same exact spot.
