I want to use MPEG2 because 30 seconds of video takes up 1GB!

When I try to add MPEG2 compression, I get an error message saying “Cannot build MPEG2 preview graph. Even with the preview turned off, when I start capturing it gives me another error message “Cannot set output file” which I don’t get when MPEG2 is unticked. So it seems MPEG2 compression doesn’t work.

I’m using the latest drivers, CL-Eye-Driver-4.0.2.1017.exe

there’s also no cfg file so I can’t use advanced mode to set 60fps, there’s no option to in ‘Video capture pin’

Found the solution.. use something else: http://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/

Works perfectly! Xvid MPEG4 compression for video and LAME encoder for audio. No reason to use CL eye.
