Hey all. I followed the developments for months and now just updated to the newest drivers recently. But it does not work on Yahoo Messenger. Here is my info:

Windows 7 x64
Yahoo Messenger 10
Newest drivers (May 2010 release)

The PS3eye works great with Skype and MSN, but not on Yahoo. The device is not recognized as a video camera, but just a USB device, or a USB microphone. The mic works fine though. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Exact same problem here on WinXP but mic will not work either.

Update: it sorta works. It lags like crazy, and I fear it can crash at anytime. Help us please.

There are a bunch of threads for the same problem “Yahoo Messenger Does Not Work”  so I just picked this one.  I have all the latest drivers, running Windows 7 Ultimate, and have followed all of the instructions.  Yahoo Messenger just does not see the PS3 Eye as a camera option.

How do we get video?  This problem has been talked about for half a year or more so are we any closer to finding a solution?
