Hi!
I am in the following situation:
I want to take two shots after each other with different exposure.
But if I don’t have a delay inbetween the shots, both will have the same exposure.

Is this a hardware issue? that it takes a certain time for the camera to adjust and the change doesn’t happen until after i’ve taken the two shots?

What do you guys thing the smartest way to solve this problem in software is?

Not sure which section to file it under, so move if needed!

The CCD exposure takes some time to adjust. Another issue is that by the time you get the frame data in software another frame capture has already started taking place. Therefore adjusting the exposure at this point will affect the frame after. At what frame rate are you trying to do this?

I somewhat solved the problem, at first I did it this way:

setExposure
take frame
setExposure
take frame

Now i take several frames instead and it works.

I have another qustion. is there any way to get a physical interperation of the exposure setting? now it is a uint8 and I would want to know the exposure time in seconds.

Also, is the scale linear? if I take a photo with exposure 10 and one with 100 will the be a factor of ten inbetween them?

Final question, If I select Camera Raw Color, will I get the raw pixel values without the camera curve applied?
