Hi all,

Has anyone had success with accessing/recording all of the audio streams transmitted by the PS3 Eye?
I read in anouther post that someone made it work using audacity on linux.
I can only see 2 channels when trying on windows, does anyone know a solution?

Thanks!

Chuk,
See here, but this is on XP: http://codelaboratories.com/forums/viewthread/108/
Use “WDM Stream Capture” driver ksproxy.ax not Audio Capture: at least on my machine this works.
Maybe on 7 it’s the same: didn’t try.
On Vista somehow driver not there.
The one in “WDM System Devices”, eventhough exposes format with all 4 channels, somehow doesn’t want to connect in 4 channels mode.
Well, Microsoft is Microsoft, what could I say…

thanks, i found a solution in the meantime…as you can see in the thread you linked, i’ve captured with REAPER and ASIO4ALL. I just needed the audio for recording, so that’s good enough for me smile

cheers
