installing the older version of Skype for desktop 5.10 really fixed the issue, my ps3 eye now works great., do not use the skype APP for windows 8 and skype for desktop 6.0, this is still not working..

Can you confirm that the latest driver for PS3Eye work with Mumble on Windows 8?
Are you running x86 or x64 flavor of Windows 8?

Hi,
Since I’m using Windows 8, I cannot use the Playstation Eye too. After reinstall the driver, I can only the camera with CL-Test, but I don’t care of the camera since I’m using Mumble (a kind of Skype).

so is skype 5.10 the newest version of skype that works with the ps3Eye?
