I’m trying to use this driver, but when I run CLNUIDEVICETEST I get a black screen, clearly indicating the driver didn’t install correctly or doesn’t work.
I’ve reinstalled and such, and nothing happened.
I don’t have any other drivers installed, but the camera DEFINITELY works.
I used it with OpenNI.
I can move the motor, but nothing else.

I am having the same problem on Windows XP.

When I run CL NUI Device Test, the program runs; I can see accelerometer data, move the motor up and down and change the LED but the camera screen is completely blank.

Any suggestions as to how to sort this out?

I am also interested to know how you got this working (having same problem on Win XP SP3, Core2Quad box). I was able to continue work by rolling back to older drivers/dll (v 1.0.0.1121). I would much prefer to find a fix with the newer drivers, since the older ones don’t appear to support multiple (kinect) devices. any suggestions appreciated.

Worth noting that I was able to get the newer drivers working without issue on my Win 7 Pro 32bit corei5 platform.

i am experiencing the exact same problem!
The test application runs, i get accelerometer data and led but the screen is black!!!

also, the application does not exit!!!!
Even if the window closes, the process remains in taskManager…

Any ideas?
My system is Windows XP 32bit on Intel Core Quad @2.66GHz
