hi, ive been trying to use my ps3 eye on the pc and everytime this never fails: the first time i downloaded the software and installed the driver i plugged it in and it worked fine but as soon as i unplug it and plug it back in it does work, the red light is showing up on the eye as if it were capturing ...and its detected by the computer but no image is visible. so i everytime i want to re-plug and use i literally have to system restore to a checkpoint before i initially installed the driver and reinstall, this is the only way that it works for me. do you think its something with my computer? i’m running xp home edition 2002 on SP3

Please make sure you are using USB 2.0 port and not USB1.0/1.1. What is your CPU/RAM?

Unfortunately, your machine is below minimal specs to run the camera. You might be able to use it by getting a dedicated USB 2.0 PCI card, but I recommend upgrading your system to something like Core 2 Duo system.

where can i upgrade for the cheapest price? any reliable websites with good offers for a core 2 duo processor?

You could try newegg.com they have pretty good prices and selection.

My PSEYE worked but once i shut down, the red light wont come on unless i have the test on.
