No Installation through proxy

Hi,

we’re trying to install driver and sdk from behind an isa proxy, so the
setup will fail each time because it does not use the system’s proxy
authentication (ntlm). Having a simple exe to download as an alternative
would make things much easier for us. But thanks for your wonderful
work in any case

No access to the driver via Windows installation, help?

Okay, I have a really weird problem. I’m running Windows Vista 32-bit. Now, I install the drivers (with the camera unplugged), that all works quite well. Then I plug my camera in, Windows starts to install the drivers, I have to redirect it to the Driver folder that’s in Program Files (under CL-Laboratories) and then it starts installing. After a few minutes though it gives this weird error message. I can printscreen it but I’m Dutch so I don’t think you’d understand.

What it says is the following:

A driver for this device has been found, but there installation program encountered the following problems:
[PS3Eye Camera]
The process doesn’t have access to the file because it is in use by another process.

I’m not sure process is the right translation, but I hope you understand.

I hope someone can help me with this for I really want to use my PSEye with my PC. I have done this before with an earlier driver, which worked nothing less than perfect. It is such a shame that this just doesn’t. Thanks in advance

anybody tried to access the CL-eye with the matlab imaq (image acquisition toolbox)?
my matlab 2008b either crashes, or only recognizes my laptop-built-in webcam upon imaqhwinfo.

My PS3 Eye tool does not work most of the time now.

Every time I plug it in the blue light shows for a quick second then goes out.
Now when I turn off or restart my computer the light goes on and the web cam works.
Then it goes off again.

I’m also having trouble with the microphone on the cam. It won’t work anymore! It use to work.

I have Windows Vista.

1. Nothing is showing up with in my camera sound and image are both blank!

2. Im trying to activate my camera (if thats what your supposed to do anyway) and it says i dont have enough credits?! What is that about!????!!!!

Vitamin D (motion detection software)

When I try to use this driver with Vitamin D, it just hangs forever trying to “connect” to the camera. I think this software could be a really ideal application of the PS3 eye driver since the PS3 eye excels in low light conditions.

I’m using Windows 7 64-bit.

StereoVision Calibration Problem..

Hi,

Im testing the CLEyeStereoVision sample, i had printed the calibration Chess board, then tried calibrate the cameras, all looks fine except that when the calibration was finished, i only received the “CalibrationEnd Started” message, the cameras viewport gets frozen and nothing happens at Stereo Depth window… After few minutes still nothing happens… What could be the problem? (Using Windows 7 x64.)

I try to compile your SDK samples in VS2008 with X64 but I think the CLEyeMulticam.lib is not 64bit compatibly
It is possible to get a x64 lib?

Every time I try to download the driver everything goes right up until it says “Connecting to host” during the download and then it just stops the whole process. Could someone help me fix it? *Note: I have limited computer knowledge so any help would be swell*

Your driver for ps3eye now seems to be even better than linux version, great work!

Recently I was reading about professional and expensive cameras and noticed some nice feature:
hardware ROI (region of interest). Programmer is able to set smaller movable active sub-window,
and the camera transmits only this region. Using this feature one can focus on some
region and achieve better frame rates, shorter exposure times, reduce required bandwidth, etc.

Reading ov7620 data sheet noticed fragment about “Window Sizing”
and registers: “Horizontal window start / end”, “Vertical window start /end “.
Maybe it would be sufficient to write some values to this registers.

Do you think I would be possible to add such feature to your SDK?
